Answer: Hoya bella

Dear Angelo,

We thank you for contacting us about the Hoya bella plant, through the Expert section of Our site.

The Hoya species belongs to the Asclepiadaceae family and are native to tropical climates.

They are characterized by being evergreen with a creeping or climbing habit grown in pots by leaf but also by flower, even if less showy.

The white flowers on the outside with shades varying in the center according to the species from rosacea to purple, appear as modeled in wax, hence the vulgar name attributed to them, or wax flower, are then usually grouped in umbels at the armpit of leaves from May to September.

Relative to the setting, these plants require

· Good diffused light but not direct sun

· Temperatures from 18 to 24 ° with minimum winter temperatures of 16 °

· Fair humidity, not excessive: sprinkle at least twice a week in summer with non-calcareous water.

It is normally repotted every 2 years in February / March in small pots compared to the foliage.

Fertilization must be done every 8-10 days with liquid fertilizers.

With best regards
