The State Natural Biogenetic Reserve Pineta di Ravenna covers an area of ​​709 hectares of coastal pine forest, in the Municipality of Ravenna (RA). It is included in the Po Delta Regional Natural Park.

Description

The Pineta di Ravenna represents an important wreck of the ancient pine forest, in which the domestic pine was imposed on the original wood, in this area mainly consisting of thermophilic and mesophilic oak groves. The pine forest performs an important function of protection from sea winds.
